Meet Our Team

Dr. Williams is the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Cranford/Elizabeth (FBCCE). As the spiritual leader of the church, her role is to provide guidance and direction to the congregation as well as foster a sense of community and spiritual growth within the church. As a Christian, her hope is that all will love the Lord God with their heart, soul, might and mind; and their neighbor as themselves. Please come and visit us at FBCCE. We'd love to see you. ​​​

Deacon Judd helps to provide leadership of the 

FBCCE Diaconate to assist the Pastor with serving the congregation, including overseeing the prayer ministry. Deacon Judd also serves on the CE Ministry as the Mission & Outreach Lead for church and community engagement.

As the CE Chairperson, Deacon Ononiwu works closely with the Pastor to cultivate the spiritual development of FBCCE from children to senior adults through various educational tools. She also welcomes our Virtual Church to worship.

The Media Ministry is instrumental in providing an audio/visual experience during our worship services, as well as creating a worshipful environment. The team handles all technical aspects for the worship service as well as assists with social media ideas.

The CY Lead will engage all children and youth of FBCCE and surrounding communities. This is a Christian Education Ministry. Currently Dr. Williams is fulfilling this role.  

The MM Lead is overseen by the CE Chair to engage with the men of FBCCE, educationally, spiritually and socially. This ministry is an important aspect of the Christian Education division.

The Office Manager works closely with the Senior Pastor to handle the day-to-day operations of the church and church administration as well as manage the volunteers, food pantry, and guest relations.

Lawrence (affectionally known as "Mr. Lawrence") faithfully cares for our building and grounds. We are so grateful that he shares his time and talents with us. Thank you, Lawrence!

As the Associate Minister of Spiritual Life, Rev. Harris supports the Senior Pastor in cultivating a vibrant, holistic and spiritually grounded multiethnic and intergenerational congregational life. The role focuses on nurturing discipleship, deepening worship engagement and strengthening the pastoral care ministries. The AMSL also serves as a content creator and Producer on various FBCCE legacy projects.  ​​​

A faithful member of FBCCE, Trustee Baisden serves as the Chairperson of the Trustee Ministry which oversees the physical and financial aspects of the church.

The Church Musician is an essential aspect of our Christian corporate worship experience. The LORD's minstrel sets the atmosphere to invite God's Presence as we engage communally in honoring our Triune God as well as receiving healing and hope for our communal and individual lives.

As the PM Lead and LDM Lead Acelia coordinates a team of intercessors to present our praise and petitions to the LORD. She also leads the team of dancers in worship through the art of dance. The Prayer Ministry is overseen by the Diaconate and the Liturgical Dance Ministry is currently overseen by the Senior Pastor. ​

The CC Lead works directly with the Senior Pastor although this is a Christian Education Ministry. (In development.)  

As the WM Lead, Felistas is overseen by the CE Chair to engage with the women of FBCCE, educationally, spiritually and socially. This ministry is an important aspect of the Christian Education division.

Adrienne carefully and caringly coordinates the FBCCE Food Pantry in conjunction with The Community Food Bank of New Jersey and our faithful volunteers. The Food Pantry serves neighbors on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 8am-Noon.
