What We Believe.
Established in 1843, The First Baptist Church of Cranford/Elizabeth is an American Baptist Church located in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
We believe in the triunity of God expressed and experienced through God the Father, God the Son in the person of Jesus the Christ, and God the Holy Spirit.
We also believe in the canon of Scripture and that the Bible is the Word of God.
Our statement of purpose is summed up as:
The First Baptist Church of Cranford/Elizabeth is to proclaim the Word of God by inviting and welcoming all in the local community and beyond, living a Christian life, faithfully sharing the love of God through evangelism, witnessing, mission and Christian Education.
